We want you to be delighted with your books! If you're not entirely satisfied with your purchase from Sonic Music Bookshop, our 30-day returns policy makes it easy to send items back.
Our 30-Day Returns Policy
You have 30 calendar days from the day you receive your order to return any unwanted items to us for a refund or exchange.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and in the same condition that you received it. This means the book should be free from any damage, marks, or signs of wear, and still in its original packaging (if applicable).
- Returned with proof of purchase. Please include your order number or a copy of your invoice/receipt with your return.
Please note that gift cards are non-returnable.
How to Return an Item
Contact Us: Before sending anything back, please email us at hello@sonicbookshop.co.uk with your order number and the reason for your return. This helps us process your request more efficiently.
Package Your Item: Carefully package the item(s) you wish to return to prevent damage during transit. We recommend using the original packaging if possible.

We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7 working days. Please note that shipping costs from your original order are non-refundable.
Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item, please follow the returns process above for the unwanted item and place a new order for the item you'd like instead. This ensures the quickest and most efficient way for you to receive your new book.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged book or the wrong item, please contact us immediately at hello@sonicbookshop.co.uk with your order number and a photo of the issue. We will arrange for a replacement or refund and cover any associated return shipping costs.
