Shipping Policy for Sonic Music Bookshop

At Sonic Music Bookshop, we aim to get your books to you as quickly and efficiently as possible. We offer a range of shipping options to suit your needs, all dispatched from our UK-based warehouse.

Shipping Options & Estimated Delivery Times

We offer the following shipping services for deliveries within the United Kingdom:

Standard Shipping:

  • Cost: £2.80
  • Estimated Delivery: 2-3 working days from the date of dispatch.
  • Details: Orders are typically dispatched within 1 working day. Delivery excludes weekends and UK public holidays.
  • (Example: If you order on Monday, your book should arrive by Thursday.)

Express Shipping:

  • Cost: £3.99
  • Estimated Delivery: 1-2 working days from the date of dispatch.
  • Details: Orders placed before 3 PM GMT on a working day are prioritised for same-day dispatch. Orders placed after the cut-off time or on weekends/public holidays will be dispatched on the next working day. Delivery excludes weekends and UK public holidays.
  • (Example: If you order before 3 PM on Monday, your book should arrive by Wednesday.)

General Shipping Information

  • Dispatch Times: We aim to dispatch all orders within 1 working day of receiving your order, unless you have selected an Express service which offers same-day dispatch if ordered before our cut-off time.
  • Working Days: Our working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.
  • Order Tracking: Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number (if applicable to your chosen service) so you can monitor the progress of your delivery.
  • Delivery Attempts: Our couriers will typically attempt delivery [Number, e.g., once or twice]. If delivery is unsuccessful, they may leave a card with instructions on how to collect your parcel or arrange redelivery.
  • Undeliverable Packages: In the event that a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, or if the package is not collected from a depot, we may charge a redelivery fee.
  • Shipping to Multiple Addresses: Currently, we can only ship to one address per order. If you wish to send items to multiple addresses, please place separate orders.

International Shipping

Currently, Sonic Music Bookshop only ships within the United Kingdom. We hope to offer international shipping in the future.
